Voltage Meter Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The voltmeter indicates the voltage applied to the IG+ terminal of the combination meter.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

INSPECT FUSE (MET)


(a) Remove the MET fuse from the engine room relay block.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (VOLTMETER)

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream ON.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.

(e) According to the display on the Techstream, perform the Active Test.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)


(a) Disconnect the H37 meter connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
